Back in Melbourne for my first workshop with the Friend of Royal Botanic Gardens. This workshop was the first in a series of 4 beginner workshops that help tackle the War on Waste. Participants were encouraged to bring unused fabric and/or garments from home and up-cycle them to make a simple coiled basket.
My first workshop at the Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre on Sunday March 17 went really well. The venue is perfect and the ladies were lovely. I will be back there on Sunday June 16 to teach Random Weaving.
