Fun afternoon making nests and wreaths

I spent yesterday afternoon with Julie Bradby (from Ballarat Botanikids) and a couple of her volunteers. We had a lot fun making nests and wreaths out of a myriad of natural materials. The nests were then attached to the wreaths creating a fresh and unique approach to this age-old craft.

Ballarat Botanikids are based in the Settlers Cottage, on the banks of Lake Wendouree and on the doorstep of the Botanical Gardens. This ideal location provides all they need to run an inspirational educational program inspired by plants. If you want to see more go to: https://www.facebook.com/ballaratbotaniKIDS
