Weaving birds at the Plant Craft Cottage

Yesterday the autumn weather was perfect for sitting outside and weaving with a group of new friends at the Royal Botanic Garden in Melbourne. Participants found they had to focus intensely when creating birds, which whisked them away from their everyday concerns. By the end of the day many participants were exhausted and ready to go home with their carefully made and beautiful birds. I shared a memory with the group of bird spotting during a holiday at Falls Creek, I became mesmerised by lyrebird foot prints in the snow….

    1. Hi Angela, thanks for your feedback! I will look into it. Did you see the links at the end of this blog post to where my workshops are advertised? Are you a member of FRBGB? If you are you will get emails from them about workshops at the Plant Craft Cottage….
