I hit the ground running by facilitating 3 workshops in 2 days for the Beanie Festival. Reconnected with people from last year and made new friends at this warm and friendly event. Saw some fellow Basketmakers of Victoria, who popped into my bird weaving workshop on Sunday afternoon to say hello.
My project investigating reciprocal relationships (between people and plants) started on the plane to Alice Springs! I was sitting next to Mary (the acupuncturist) who promised and then delivered a book for me to read Thus Spoke the Plant by Monica Gagliano, PHD. She also introduced me to a legendary plant person from Alice (Geoff Miers), while we were waiting for our luggage! Wish me well, I am on an adventure of a lifetime.

Looks fab jodie. Excited for you to have this wonderful experience.
Thanks Gayl! I signed into my lovely little historic Folk Cottage to see the last resident was Kim Mahood. She has an exhibition on at Araluen Arts Centre called Forcefield that I will view this week.
