It was perfect weather on Saturday January 19 so many people came and wandered through this fabulous local market. I had a steady stream of people who enjoyed hanging out and making lavender wands.

Lavandula in Hepburn is such a wonderful place to spend the day weaving! We had so many people wanting to make a lavender wand that it became a very enjoyable flurry of activity.

Last Sunday, perfect weather for boat making bought a bigger crowd to the project. During the day there were 3 groups who learned how to use grass (collected from the walking trail) to make boats. I had a lovely day at Creswick Neighbourhood Centre yesterday helping ladies create random weave baskets. Participants had some amazing wisteria to use from a big plant I got permission to prune in Ballarat.
A slow start to the project but by the end of the day the twined surface started to look good within the branches of a tree. The Loddon River was twinkling in the background as it flowed over and down the rocky river bed. No better way to spend today…
A small number of us created a garden border out of wild willow during the Creswick Market last Saturday morning.
